A lifestyle of surrender is what produces an eternal weight of glory within us.
Moments under pressure are what form our character, transform us into the image of Jesus, and make us partakers of his suffering so that when his glory is revealed, we shall have exceeding joy.
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
1 Peter 4:12-13 KJV

...and He knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:41b-42 KJV
Jesus led by example and taught us that a life on the altar is the best life to live. It’s a life driven by eternity and a life full of adventure and opportunities to love and be loved. It’s a life of faith, that sees what human eyes can’t see.
Don’t despise the times of pressure. Instead, embrace them. Don’t run from the challenges or trials because on the other side of them is a weight of glory that you’ll carry for the assignment heaven is entrusting you with.
For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:15-18 KJV
